Rod Nuss, newly appointed FUSION Volunteer Coordinator, has a heart for service in the community. He brings much experience to the organization having helped with local Special Olympics events for 20 years and delivering Meals on Wheels in Federal Way. He now has the job of recruiting new members for the FUSION volunteer force.
Rod says what he enjoys most about FUSION is working with like-hearted people who appreciate the mission and are willing to help wherever there is a need. Along with co-coordinator Jan Sensack, he also will be doing volunteer orientation and planning appreciation events.
FUSION volunteer opportunities are open in Transitional Housing maintenance and at the Pete Andersen Family Center. Also needed is help with sales at the Décor Boutique and people to pick up donated items for the store.
